Pacman occupying completly partition

Hi, since few days all packages which are not properly downloaded give the file size about 2 GB
any, not just one
example:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2150715392 2009-10-06 19:06 groff-1.20.1-3-i686.pkg.tar.gz.part

not only this one package - all when download finishes with errors:

error: failed retrieving file 'groff-1.20.1-3-i686.pkg.tar.gz' from archlinux.unixheads.org : Requested Range Not Satisfiable

I even changed partition for /var/cache/packages/pkg assuming that my partition has problems but it is not a case - the problem is always the same

any help ?

Known pacman issue, already patched into next release.
