Adobe Air

Recently I bought a subscription to Pandora for being awesome and decided to try out their Desktop app. Of course Adobe Air gave me a few problems. I found that Air wasn't in the repository but there are plenty of ways to still install the package.

As a result, I'd like to create and even maintain a package for Arch linux but I'm not sure about how the most preferable way to auto setup the files into each users directory. A lot of people apparently want the entire package into the home directory and then make a bash script that calls the bin folder directly and then takes a parameter that determines which package to look for in another predefined folder.

If someone were to make a nice install design, I'd be glad to implement and maintain a package for adobe air.

EDIT: I just thought about maybe a install script to automatically install .air files and make menu icons for the user. Any feedback?

Re: Adobe Air

PKGBUILDs are not supposed to install anything into $HOME. See the packaging guidelines: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arc … _Standards

Re: Adobe Air

There's already a package in the AUR:
