[solved]glibc update fails

Installing arch for first time. Trying

pacman -Su

and it tell me a lot of packages were downloaded but glibc failed

Still using the belnet ftp repository (the only server for belgium /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist)

pacman -S glibc

This command reported an ftp error and any further update attempt an invalid or corrupt package is reported

Using a different server, this yields the same error.

Re: [solved]glibc update fails

Thanks, a first attempt to clear the cache apparently wasn't successful.
