CLI/MPD Player + iPod

Now I haven't used any of these: currently I've just been sticking to RhythmBox, since amarok is bloat and doesn't even seem to work right.

I'm looking for a cli player (prefferably MPD) that will let me listen to my iPod Classic while it's charging. The problem I'm assuming it will have is I will go to the directory and it will look like this:
HopingItWontLookLikeThis.png
And I'll be searching through tons of folders with random files...

So I was just asking if any of these CLI players have support to work like Amarok & RhythmBox.

It's been a while, but I _think_ the files are still tagged correctly. If they are, you can use mpd easily as it's library based and you can browse with the ID3 tags.

Thanks for the incite, guys. I set it all up today and got it working like a charm!

PS: Skottish thanks for the link! I had heard there was some new Gong, but had no idea what to expect!
