Hi.
I've added [gnome-unstable] to my /etc/pacman.conf file.
And I have upgrade gnome-deskop and gdm by running:
$ pacman -S gnome-unstable/gnome-desktop gnome-unstable/gnome-desktop
Of course I want gnome at 2.28 but when I do pacman -Syu it won't upgrade from [gnome-unstable]! It just say local version are newer than in [extra].
How you I make pacman upgrade from ALL repos? So I can upgrade ALL packages including those that may be newer in [gnome-unstable]?
Thanks,
Ben

Its bad to post the same question in two different forums. Please read http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/For … ss-Posting, and indeed the rest of the wiki on Forum Etiquette.

Could you please point out where I have asked the same thing?
I got the answer to my last question regarding indentifying where I might get gnome2.28 from.
This query askes how I can get pacman to upgrade from outside the 3 standard repos.
