Drivers for my XServer

I'm trying to get  my Xorg server up and running.  I have a pavilion dv1000, and found the special arch page for it(http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HP_ … 000_Series).  The problem is, on the arch wiki for my computer it directs me to download "xf86-video-i686" drivers.  However, I can't find that in the repos.  I find xf86-video-intel and xf86-video-intel-legacy.  Would these work?  Which one?

Thanks.

Re: Drivers for my XServer

I think you mean the "xf86-video-i810" driver?

If that's so, then xf86-video-intel would work fine.

It may. On some systems with older chipsets that driver can be very unstable. My advice would be to try it and see how it does. If it seems to be working, it's all good. If not, try the legacy version.
