Howdy Archers.... I've been having problems building alot of packages from AUR.... heres one of them
Checked out revision 8.
==> SVN checkout done or server timeout
==> Starting make...
This Makefile is only for the CVS repository
This will be deleted before making the distribution
/usr/bin/unsermake: line 11: exec: python2.5: not found
*** AUTOMAKE NOT FOUND!.
*** KDE requires automake 1.6.1 or newer
make[1]: *** [cvs] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2
/tmp/yaourt-tmp-kaddy/aur-kxmame-svn/kxmame-svn/./PKGBUILD: line 35: ./configure: No such file or directory
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
==> ERROR: Build Failed.
Aborting...
Error: Makepkg was unable to build kxmame-svn package.
the thing is... I DO have python 2.6, I DO have the latest automake, i think its 1.11, but for some reason, its not getting detected as the correct version that i have.
My question is
what steps do i have to take to get my package built?
thanx

this topic should be closed. don't open so many threads for the same problem.
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
