Can't do anything without root now!

For some reason, I can't do anything without going into root first now. I can't play dvd's, change the volume, anything. So how can I fix this? I can't remember what I might have done to trigger this.

Re: Can't do anything without root now!

try this

# gpasswd -a username audio
# gpasswd -a username optical

it's a new arch default device system
if you want to avoid such things you have to put your permission file as "NoUpgrade" in pacman.conf

good luck

arch + gentoo + initng + python = enlisy
