How to offer updated/improved PKGBUILD for [extra] package?

I noticed that the llvm package in [extra] was orphaned and out-of-date.  So, I'm working on an updated version, which also has many improvements IMO.

How should I proceed?  Should I post on a mailing list, and if so, which?  I'd like to discuss options for packaging llvm with the Arch devs, as I've been looking at packaging LLVM/Clang/LLVM-GCC for quite a while and have some experience with it.

I recall Allan mentioning something about this, but my searching was fruitless.

llvm is in community repo so post on the aur-general ML.  For packages really  in extra, post on arch-general ML.

BTW, llvm is not required by any other packages so you could ask to move llvm to unsupported if no TU wants to maintain it.

Ah, I thought it was in extra.  I keep forgetting community got moved to the main SVN interface.
Thanks.
