What to do when an icon is not properly displayed on KDE

I have this problem with the icon of liferea on kde (image below)

As you can notice, the icon is not correctly "integrated" with the background, transparencys, etc......

Is there any way to show it properly?

Thanks!! big_smile

Re: What to do when an icon is not properly displayed on KDE

Some applications ship their own icons and insist on using them - check the user-group-delete icon on the kuser toolbar.
A brute force solution is to find the bad icon (pacman -Ql <package> often works) and replace it.

Good ideas do not need lots of lies told about them in order to gain public acceptance.

Re: What to do when an icon is not properly displayed on KDE

Kontakt goes against my idea of KISS tongue Too many things in a same program, when i only want to read feeds...

Akregator, as far as i tryed it, was not able to embeed the videos (liferea can) Maybe i did not dig enough into the preferences, but i think it will be worth to give it a try again....

Thanks !!!

Yep, i tryed it, and, definitely, liferea is better (for me).....
You can see the embeeded videos from youtube or whatever other page embedded in the same reader, and has an option (one folder) that stores all the not-read feeds from the other folders......
I still think there was some app that can launch the programs in the tray and fix this icon problems... i will go on investigating... thanks!!!
