How to automatically set keyboard layout to norwegean in gnome/Xorg?

Hi!

I have not found any answers for this by searching google, nor the wiki:

My keyboard layout is norwegean, and works fine in usual commandline, but in gnome after doing startx I have to type 'setxkbmap no' to make æøå work and so on. This is reseted on reboot. If I insert 'setkbmap no' in ~/.xinitrc as explained in http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/X#S … _xorg.conf it is'nt set => no difference. How to set this automatically?
