util-linux-ng conflicts with e2fsprogs

util-linux-ng conflicts with e2fsprogs, which results in:

* I cannot even install X.org
* I cannot remove e2fsprogs, because of cryptsetup, heimdal, hwdetect, jfsutils, nfs-utils, reiserfsprogs and xfsprogs

do you have any suggestions what to do?

I also tried to remove e2fsprogs, but in addition to the packages mentioned above it also says that it's required by util-linux-ng ....

do pacman -Syu and then try to install additional packages.
