compile ls-sensors patch

Hi,
I need to apply the http://lists.lm-sensors.org/pipermail/l … 26037.html patch in order to get the sensors working on my VIA EPIA board and am pretty clueless where to start. Is there a wiki cookbook that I can follow to get this patch in?

thanks for any pointers

Re: compile ls-sensors patch

man PKGBUILD is a good place to start.
Also look at any of the numerous PKGBUILDs in abs that do applies patches. Like eg the grub one.

Re: compile ls-sensors patch

Thanks.

I kind of manage PKGBUILD having build packages myself. My question relates to the patching of a existing component, ls-sensors in this case.
