Some of you might remember konify. This is a 3D version of it using povray.
I've created a page for this on my site (in the "Other Stuff" area): http://xyne.archlinux.ca/artwork/konify3d
You can get the latest version of the povray file that I'm using there. I've tried to arrange "options" near the top of the file and most of them will hopefully be self-explanatory (e.g. Aspect_Ratio).
Here are some output examples. I haven't even begun to look into surface and texture settings yet so hopefully there will be more to come. There might be more examples on the page above because I can update that automatically.
Post your own examples if you generate any.

But... how can we run it ?
If we want i.e 1680x1050 walls, what do we do to run ? We use the povray from [extra], or the beta ?
I'm using povray from extra. There's a command example on the page on my site. Basically you just invoke povray with konify3d.pov as an input file (after editing it to tweak the parameters).
I've added some more macros and options with matching screenshots.
Some of the images could probably be improved by tweaking the anti-aliasing options but I don't have time for that right now.
This is really cool. I haven't managed to produce anything as interesting as Xyne, but I'll keep playing with it.
< Daenyth> tomkx: my girlfriend is linux
