I am having problems with gnucash and making beeps when entering in transactions. I thought it was a problem with gnucash until I tried the program in OpenSUSE and I do not have the same problem. I was listening to music at the time to give me some thing to do while entering all these and each time I would enter in any thing it would beep. Since installing OpenSUSE to try it out I do not have the same problem.

Well I found out that this was because of my stupidity. I had unmuted all the different items in the mixer. I finally just unmuted the cd and I think the front sound and that was it. I tried to enter some thing into gnucash and it worked like it was supposed to. I guess I am still used to things being set up already by what ever distribution that I used in the past.
