Openbox crashes when using Uzbl, Epiphany, EPDFview or Midori

After the recent Xorg (started when Xorg-server went up 1.7.1-1) and GNOME (2.28 updates), Epiphany and Evince keeps on crashing.

Epiphany from just randomly browsing sites (most of the time it quits while I'm on Facebook but not browsing in google) and Evince kept on crashing anytime I opened a random pdf file. Openbox would freeze and exit to slim, loosing all my work.

I browsed the forums and found out that GNOME 2.8 is quite buggy, thus I took the opportunity to experiment with chromium and ePDFView. I also downloaded Midori and uzbl but they kept on crashing too. After downgrading libwebkit to the previous version, uzbl and Midori are still crashing Openbox (but strangely, Chromium is very stable, so is Opera and Firefox). Using

uzbl-browser > error.log

shows nothing about errors. EPDFview is also crashing like evince, right when I open a document (I can open epdfview just fine...)

I'm using xf86-video-intel-newest (as xf86-video-intel had the same problem, I thought switching might help) and KMS is enabled.

Any suggestions? Thank you!
