PediaPress

Today I discovered you can have books made of Wikipedia articles using an extension they have, and have them printed using a wonderful-looking site called PediaPress. The PediaPress site explains how to make a book of any wiki running MediaWiki, which the Arch wiki does.

edit:
I've done some reading of the PediaPress site and it looks like only Wikimedia gets donations, you can't set it up to have donations go somewhere else sad
Oh well.

I'd love a book of the Arch wiki. However, if I just made it using PediaPress, Arch wouldn't get anything. I think Wikipedia gets 10% of the sales of books, without really doing anything other than setting up an extension — so, if some Arch wiki-god installs the extension for the Arch wiki… Arch will get money, and we'll get custom books containing precisely what we want them to contain.

Re: PediaPress

Yes, but that's only the beginners' guide.
