Dell Inspiron 6400

Hi, does anyone use archlinux on a dell inspiron 6400? Do you have any advice on how to speed up the boot, and configure the machine for best performance? Actually, i don't have any problem or so, just wondering howto increase my system perfomance and remove any kind of useless stuff to speed up my machine a bit
