intel graphics 945GSE xorg problem

Hi, i have low power board Intel Johnstown D945GSEJT with integrated graphics which is detected as:

00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)

i have installed xorg and xf68-video-intel driver as it is described in wiki, but i got black screen when xserver start (without xorg.config) and can't swith to terminal with keyboard, in syslog is kernel Oops:

Re: intel graphics 945GSE xorg problem

Did you add "intel_agp i915" to the MODULES in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf?

While the wiki doesn't say it explicitly, did you re-generate your initcpio:

mkinitcpio -p kernel26

Re: intel graphics 945GSE xorg problem

The nouveau-drm package may be the culprit. See this thread:

Re: intel graphics 945GSE xorg problem

Why would he install nouveau-drm if he uses intel gfx?
Try the long method in the early start section of the wiki.

Re: intel graphics 945GSE xorg problem

Why would he install nouveau-drm if he uses intel gfx?

Well, maybe he installed the xorg-video-drivers group. Perhaps from inexperience, or maybe for some other legitimate reason. If he did, then xf86-video-intel is broken.
