can't toggle sound channels

Hello guys,

I can't mute my Master and PCM channels on my Thinkpad SL500, not with alsamixer by pressing "m", not with amixer.

How could I solve that problem? I don't think my soundcard can't handle muting.

I was able to locate the problem. It only occurs when my sound boxes are plugged via headphone access.

What's wrong with my configuration?
