[solved} no /etc/skell

I tried to cp /etc/skel/. but it said omitted /etc/skell/ and xinitrc ~/ direcotry not found
now /etc/skell disappeared and so did xinitrc
where did they go and is there a way to get xinitrc back?

when I cp /etc/skel/.xinitrc ~/ it says /etc/skell:no such file or directory.

Re: [solved} no /etc/skell

But why at the start of topic there wasn`t .xinitrc in skeletons?
If xorg group was installed.
I have same issue, after installed xorg group I haven`t in skel .xinitrc.

pethead, read the forum rules. You should never revive 6 year old topics.

Also, learn how to use the wiki and find simple answers before you post: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xorg#Manually

Re: [solved} no /etc/skell

IIRC the new xorg doesn't ship them anymore.
There's no reason to install the whole xorg group. Open a new thread.
