ossvol not working: 'Bad mixer control name'

Hello

There seems to be something wrong with my ossvol.

When I do 'ossvol -t' I get:

$ ossvol -t
Bad mixer control name(1003) 'vol'
Bad mixer control name(775) 'vol'

Any idea of what might be wrong?
