AUR package for Dutch Archers only... Should or shouldn't I?

The Dutch IRS (belastingdienst) has enabled people to do their tax returns through downloadable software. One of the victories of the Dutch Linux Community was to petition them into not only releasing a version for Windows and Mac, but for Linux as well. And they have been releasing their software on all three platforms for a few years now.

I've made PKGBUILD files for the most recent and still relevant editions. Question is; should I release them to the general Arch populous through AUR?

These packages are only relevant to Dutch Arch users, so the userbase for these packages is very small. I would really love to know if it would be fitting to put them in AUR, or if it would be better to start a thread and simply post the PKGBUILD files there.

What do you all think? (or even better; how do the dev's feel about this?)

You could probably get a quicker answer by posting a message to aur-general.

I don't see any reason not post this so I would say go ahead. It can always be deleted later if someone has a good reason.

After all, there are things such as language packs in the AUR which are only for a very small subset of the community.

I do not think it is a problem to have packages with "national only" contents in AUR. We have many of them.

If two trusted users give these kind of responses, I'm sure it'll be alright... Besides, AUR packages are not written in stone, they _can_ be removed if needed wink
Thanks for responding.
