PCM slider does nothing.

The PCM control in alsamixer doesn't change the volume, so the volume control in mpd doesn't work either. This was working. I'm not sure what happened. Here's all the info I can think to post

Zotac ION board. i686.

/etc/modprobe.d/sound:

alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel
alias sound-slot-0 snd-hda-intel

(made by alsaconf)

That's it I guess.
