lenovo 3000 N200 sleep issue

i just recently installed arch on my laptop. (Lenovo 3000 n200 0769 ALU) The installation went smooth, only needed to get a few drivers and my b43 fw. now everything is working awesome except the suspend. it appears to sleep fine but upon resume, the screen doesn't appear to turn on.

i've done a little reading and it seems it is quite a common problem but i couldn't find any real solutions. any help would be very much appreciated.

here's my lspci in case it helps. i put the drivers i used next to the items where appropriate.

Re: lenovo 3000 N200 sleep issue

Since you have an Intel card, did you configure kernel mode setting according to the Intel wiki?

http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Intel_Graphics

This made a big difference on my laptop and suspend as well as hibernate work.

Re: lenovo 3000 N200 sleep issue

I did that. its cool to switch to kernel mode without the flicker, and compiz runs faster, but that's the only differences i've noticed
