Hi,
Thanks to my university, the Lenovo T400s with the multitouch capacitive touchscreen is almost affordable. I really like the T400s and it is cheaper for me to get the T400s with multitouch through my university than a T400s without the touchscreen directly from Lenovo.
Now the thing is that I'd like to use the multitouch screen under ArchLinux but I have not found any documentation on how to enable the multitouch features. I thus have several questions.
1) Is it possible to use the multitouch features under Linux ? How can it be enabled ?
2) If it is not possible yet. How long could it take until someone out there publishes drivers for that ?
3) How to completely disable the touchscreen (so that no power at all goes to the touch-thing) in order to improve battery life a bit ? The actual screen and the touch surface are two separate devices as far as I know.
Thank you in advance for your answers,
yms
