removing certain packages from base

Hello all, I had a question about removing a few certain packages, from the base group, that were installed. As a note, when I installed Arch, I didn't install nano and lilo, and that didnt seem to mess anything up.

The packages I was curious about are:
devfsd --- I use udev, so I shouldnt need this right?
reiserfsprogs --- i use ext2/3, so couldnt these go as well
raidtools --- no array of inexpensive discs here

Thanks!
