[SOLVED] usb hdd not showing up (used to) ?
hey i just tried to plug in my wd 1tb mybook into machine and i can't find it in /dev/disk/by-id
i remember i was able to mount it just a few weeks ago fine. anyone know what went wrong?

it isn't even showing up with lsusb

ok i got it ... but now when i try to mv or cp a file to the usb i get Read-ONLY filesystem
