Hi!
I am using Arch on my laptop that contains a Radeon HD 3200. Since KMS should be available on >= 2.6.32 and that kernel has already been released oficially it would be interesting to know when there will be a package to upgrade to that kernel (I am currently using 2.6.31) and when the ati or radeonhd driver will get (a kind of) stable.
I am currently using the experimental git builds from AUR but the drivers doesn't work properly.
Do you know if maybe there already is a reasonable solution?
Thank you in advance!

2.6.32 is in the testing repo now.
Even if you're not a testing user, you can still check archlinux.org for testing updates.

thank you for your quick answer!
how do I install these "testing" packages?
Offline
Enable the testing repo in your pacman.conf.

I tried to include the testing repo and got few updates but neither the kernel nor the graphic drivers are updated.
Maybe adding "testing" and "community-testing" and running "pacman -Syu" afterwards isn't enough to do?

You can always download kernel26, kernel26-firmware, kernel26-headers and any dependencies and install them with pacman -U
