songbird_bin

They say that if you play a Win cd backward you hear satanic messages. That's nothing! 'cause if you play it forwards, it installs windows.

Re: looking for itunes equilivant

Did you try to boot your computer with your iPod already connected?

Edit: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=103071
*NOTE ABOUT ITUNES* - If you use gtkpod to update your iPod, gtkpod does not use the exact same method of writing the iTunesDB file that iTunes does. So, if you use your iPod with both windows and linux, you may make your iTunesDB unreadable by gtkpod.

I think no program will find your ipod, they are all using the same library. I hope you already have installed libgpod?

Re: looking for itunes equilivant

ok when using git version of gtkpod and libgpod, gtkpod finds it but i cant choose fifth gen nano in the prefeerences it only goes to fourth gen and i tryed choosing fourthgen but it just made it puke errors about "iPod database import failed: illegal seek to offset 0 (lenght 4) in file /media/ipod/iPod_Control/iTunes/iTunesDB and when looking at that file manually its empty and 0 bytes big so what to do hmm

Not necessarily true - there's a known bug involving Banshee and iPods, which in my case didn't affect Rhythmbox, for instance.
