smartctl reports errors. Is tehre a way to save disk?

I don't know why but I just made long smartctl test:

smartctl -d ata -t long /dev/sda

and the output:

The errors occurred after 3506 hours of uptime. Your disk passed its health assessment and has no "when failed" entries.
