[SOLVED] SIOCSIFFLAGS: cannot assign requested address [AGAIN]

Hi everybody,
I posted some weeks ago for a problem with MArvell 88E8052 ethernet card.
I have a sony VAIO VGN-SR21M, I using my ArchLinux without problem, for a lot of months. Then ethernet stops to work.
After two weeks also wireless stops to work, but it is not more recognize from the system, also typing lspci.
So I think it is a Hardware problem, so I install WinVista sad and send it to the Sony Europe to fix the problem. After a week it backs, with the wireless card changed. On my laptop now I have VISTA  and everything work wireless and network. I move my data again on my vaio, I previously cloned my HD, and wireless works fine but ethernet not!
If I use static IP it doesn't up, if I type ifconfig eth0 up the response is "SIOCSIFFLAGS: Cannot assign requested address"
The I format my vaio and I put a new and clear archlinux, but nothing same problem, but under windows the network works great.
I don't know what can I do. From the dmesg log I see:

sky2 driver version 1.22
sky2 0000:02:00.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ16
sky2 0000:02:00.0: setting latency timer to 64
sky2 0000:02:00.0: Yukon-2 FE+ chip revision 0
sky2 0000:02:00.0: irq 30 for MSI/Msi-X
sky2 eth0: addr 00:00:00:00:00:00

Anybody has a good advice? I'm going mad!

Any reply will be very appreciate

thank

Cesare

PS: is it possible that the problem could be in the mac address which is now equal to 00.00.00.00.00.00? Probably it needs a real address?

ISSUE solved:
it seems that mac address 00.00.00.00.00 doesn't work, you should force a real mac address with command:
ifconfig nic hw ether realmacaddress

As example:
ifconfig eth0 hw ether 001cfc9a94fb

Hope to be usefull
