When start my laptop without power wire conected the OS is freezed at boot time, don't remember exactly the output in console but is something related with udev.

The other thing is that only could suspend to ram the first time, after wakeup and try to suspend again I have a black screen and some time later the laptop is restart.

Hi remosu!

These two links may help you out
  http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Suspend_to_RAM
  http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Suspend_to_Disk

I have the same problem and I never tried them.
But I'm gonna try them soon as I am using kde in a laptop and it is really worth.
