vodafone mobile connect USB modem.

I have purchased vodafone mobile connect recently. I am from india. Its a GSM based.

I am already using network manager for my lan and wireless. But I want to use this vodafone mobile connect also.

SO what are the various steps so that I can connect. Ans also I want to see the usage of the internet. In windows vodafone has vmlite software which gives connection details and sms facility also.

Re: vodafone mobile connect USB modem.

It is an older version but it still works well.  Install it with yaourt, be sure to read the yaourt output at the end of the process as it has the final instructions to configure.
It has to be started as root: sudo vodafone-mobile-connect-card-driver-for-linux
