It's very strange, but your Xorg log seems to be polluted with wine output... Very strange.
And, according to log, your keyboard and mouse detected properly.
English is not my native language, sorry.

That file is unintelligible near the end.
Start by restarting that computer. If startx doesn't work, than you can rename your xorg.conf to xorg.conf.bak and try again.
You can also run 'dmesg > dmesg.log' and show us the file.

nothing happens when i added that to the file and tried to startx
I'm very new to Arch but I may be able to help as I've been having similar problems: I couldn't get my keyboard to work in Xterm but my mouse worked OK. After a lot of fiddling about, I discovered that if I started "hal" very early on, the keyboard now works in Xterm.
Here's the relevant line from /etc/rc.conf
DAEMONS=(syslog-ng hal network ntfs crond alsa @openntpd)
Hope this helps

@tenlegger
I've suggested that already http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php? … 85#p673285

It seems very likely that you should delete or at least move your xorg.conf.
Did you try just 'sudo /etc/rc.d/hal restart' before restarting X?
