XFCE really slow shutdown

I'm running XFCE 4.6 and it's working pretty well. Biggest complaint right now? Shutdown a] asks for my password and b] takes *forever*. Well, a minute or two before actually closing things down, which for an impatient computer hacker is forever smile

Any quick fixes for either problem?

Re: XFCE really slow shutdown

Check thread:

polkit-action --set-defaults-any org.freedesktop.hal.power-management.reboot yes
polkit-action --set-defaults-any org.freedesktop.hal.power-management.shutdown yes

Which populates /var/lib/PolicyKit-public/org.freedesktop.hal.power-management.shutdown.defaults-override with the hilarious:
yes:no:yes

Bad security, but it works.
