Tux Cake

I friend of mine baked a cake for me for my farewell party featuring our favorite mascot: Tux! big_smile tongue
You can click the images to get the full resolution version. Quality isn't the best since I took the photos with my iPhone under poor lighting.

It was made entirely by hand. The shape was made by printing out a cut out tux and using as a cutting overlay. The colors were also done by hand using icing and chocolate.

It isn't very clear but the words say "Failure is not an option, it comes bundled with windows."

This is the decapitated head which I ate.

These were the leftovers. Hide it quick before the SPCA gets here! yikes

PS:
It looks like some others have tried baking tux cakes but I still think ours is the best as it looks most true to the original. cool

Haha, I think dusty would be more interested in an Archlinux cake.

Re: Tux Cake

Which kernel though? Yeast or shortcrust??? Personally I'm not in favour of sponge kernels...
