Toshiba L300-254

I have installed Arch on a Toshiba L300-254 laptop, and I have been having ACPI problems, fan not working even when the temp reached 80, AC adapter not detected, Fn Keys not working.

It seems that the Toshiba BIOS L300 series is buggy and not Linux friendly. After some research and experiments I found a solution for both the fan and detection the AC, but the Fn, which I can live without.

The solution is adding acpi_osi="Linux" to the kernel line in grub.

Should why add this tip to the wiki, if yes where in the wiki?
