[solved] EEE 701 - how to enable toggle on/off touchpad

I know that the 701 doesn't come with a hotkey to toggle the touchpad but has anyone been able to assign a key to do so?

I've installed acpi-eeepc-generic and I'm pretty sure that it will allow me to do it, but I'm not seeing it.

You can put the command in a script and call it with a custom key binding

for anyone else whose curios, here's the commands:

Off
$synclient TouchpadOff=1

and to turn it back on
$synclient TouchpadOff=0
