Trouble with RAID install [solved]

I am trying to set up a RAID for my system and I keep running into the same problem.  When I boot back into the system I get a kernel panic saying it can't find my RAID drives.  I have followed the RAID wiki to the letter and it keeps happening.  Any thoughts?

Thanks

Re: Trouble with RAID install [solved]

Most successful raid installs utilize mdadm for software raid.

To ensure that the raid array is started during boot, mkinitcpio -p kernel26 must be invoked to populate /etc/mdadm.conf with the raid array.

The raid arrays are established by that file during boot.

You can check that file for the array description.

It is best to use uuid for the raid devices.

More info on your setup will help....
