Hi,
When I try and enable Compiz via Compiz Fusion Icon the windows freeze and I have to select Metacity again in Compiz Fusion Icon to restore normal function.
Here is the output of my 'compiz-check'

no idea about your problem but you may want to change your topic title to something relevant to your issue.

Make sure compiz-manager is installed and post the output of 'compiz-manager'
Also make sure you have the move, resize, decoration and place plugins enabled in ccsm
