How to change the mouse cursor theme in KDM? (x86-64)

Hello!

I have googled and searched through tens of forums and wikis for a way to change the mouse cursor theme in KDM, but the solutions offered do not work for me. Not even the one marked as solved in this forum - http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=79081

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Maybe somebody knows of an alternative way to make this happen?

Using Arch x86-64 with KDEmod.
