I had problems with connecting to my Accesspoint with my Atheros AR9280. On boot it connected fine (net-profiles daemon). But after the cmd series
netcfg -d profile && netcfg -u profileI had no connection. For what I can see the device was associated (iwconfig), but there were no ip, gateway or dns. Manually running dhclient didn't solve the problem. After searching on the internet on this topic, I blacklisted the ipv6 module, but after a reboot it was still loaded (?!?). The only solution was to move the module itself out of the modules folder. After a reboot my AR9280 worked just fine.
I write this because I think it could be helpful for other ath9k users out there which have similar problems.
