Tried installin this with
pacman -Sy kernel26-headers
but got
error: 'kernel26-headers': not found in sync db
I tried pacman with gimp and it asks to reinstall which is right so I think pacman's workin, but summuts up with this package.
Accordin to the package site it was updated today but it's an Orphan so dunno what that means.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Is your mirror up to date?

Ok well I added http://archlinux.unixheads.org/ to my Mirrorlist as I noticed it was updated recently.
I ran pacman -Syy after doin so
then I tried the kernel26-headers again with same results.
Did I miss a sterp or anythin?

See here for an up-to-date mirror: http://www.archlinux.de/?page=MirrorStatus
Don't forget to run -Syy before -S too.
Edit: ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/archlinux/$repo/os/i686 is very up to date. As well as ftp://locke.suu.edu/linux/dist/archlinux/$repo/os/i686
The unixheads mirror seems dead for me.

The unixheads mirror is officially dead - nobody should be using it. They are on the same network as kernel.org so unixheads quit when kernel.org got involved.

That did it guys. Thanks alot ![]()
ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/archlinux/$repo/os/i686 worked for me. I shall learn to read that mirrors page properly.
Thanks again

Out-of-date mirrors are a pain for users. And in Europe, it is worse...sometimes ![]()
