mp4 support

Could someone tell me which packages do i need to install in order to play mp4's and other such audio/video formats?

Any decent player will do.  I personally prefer vlc; there's also mplayer and some others.

If you use gnome, you might want to install gstreamer0.10-plugins.

That way Totem(Movie Player) and many other apps will have native support for them.

That was it!...:D
I'd just gotten them to play on VLC as the poster above mentioned and then I installed the gstreamer plugins and restarted the program i was trying to use: miro booted up the file perfectly.
