(Solved) Generic Serial Printer

Hi, I'm a new arch user and I needed to add a Generic text only serial port printer via cups.  The thing is, is that cups doesn't give me the option for a serial port and there isn't a generic text only driver avaiable.  Is there a way to do this?

The problem is that
/usr/lib/cups/backend/serial
and
/dev/ttyS0

have only root permissions.  Fixed by doing chmod command on both items.
