[/FIX/]Single quote equals up ?!?!?

Hi all,

After much searching I couldn't find any help with this...  Whenever I put the ' key it no only prints a ' but also is like push the up key!!! It is very annoying. It does it in pretty much every thing except when I use the Korn shell.

Does this happen only within X?  Could you see what the result of pressing the apostrophe key within 'xev' is?

I did more testing, pressing up does the same! Also scroll lock also equals enter!!!

The following seemed to fix my problem. But if I reboot chances are it will be back to what it was.

echo r > /proc/sysrq-trigger
