Good way to display UTC in status bar of Screen

Hello,

I'm wondering what the best way to display UTC in my status bar when using screen.  I have of course figured out how to display local time - but would like to additionally display UTC.

What code is needed in .screenrc?

Right.

Well, I'm not sure if there is a better way to do this...

But I wrote a simple shell script to grab the time and then used backtick in .screenrc.

Is there an easier way to accomplish this?:/
