Where is configure and autogen.sh ?

I've run makepkg lots of times in the past, but this morning I tried to make one from AUR and I'm getting a message that configure and autogen.sh are not found. They don't seem to be in my system. Does anybody know where they live?

thanks

Re: Where is configure and autogen.sh ?

Aren't those files provided from the source of the package? It sounds to me like a broken PKGBUILD. Try unpacking the source manually and checking if the configure and autogen.sh files are located there.

Ah, that makes sense, and this PKGBUILD is screwed up.

thanks.

Do you contact the maintainer of the PKGBUILD? You did not tell us of what PKGBUILD you talk about, so there is little chance that someone else does smile
