xf86-video-intel-legacy

Hi folks,
Does the legacy intel driver package still exist? I'm getting poor 3d performance out of my GMA950 netbook and want to try the old driver. I've searched the repos and AUR but can't find it.

TIA,
Mong,

Re: xf86-video-intel-legacy

Ah thank's very much. A cryptic renaming threw me off the scent.

EDIT: Ah, it's been marked out of date a couple of months ago and doesn't compile with the current xorg releases. Ah well, I'll just live with what I have. Thanks anyway.

Re: xf86-video-intel-legacy

did you try downgrading using the schlunix.org website. i have an old desktop with the i82845 chipset and had to revert to linux 2.6.31, x 1.6.3, intel-legacy from schlunix. pls check http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dow … g_Packages
